Friday Night Blues #218
I’m a bad, bad sinner boys, and I just don’t know if I’ll ever get turned around – This is Friday Night Blues #218!
A big thank you to all my loyal listeners who have been with me for almost four years.
I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to keep Friday Night Blues up and running as I’ve recently survived a stroke and I currently find myself having to deal with a number of consequences that I could never have prepared for and my life is in for a few big changes. I can’t complain though, I’m alive.
Lost love, constant pain, deep sadness and uncertainty, a scattered brain playing with the soul with no path forward and the all enveloping stench of fear, she calls.
That be the blues man and come Friday night, at least just for a little while, I get to step outside of everything, gather up a little strength and say – Let’s get it on:
The Playlist: Magic Slim (Mustang Sally), Stephen Bruton (Right On Time), Jimmy Spacek (Easy Come, Easy Go), Walter Trout (Runnin’ Blues), Eddie Shaw (Got To Go Now), Crudup Brothers (Going Down in Style), Cooley Pope (Rackem Up), Doug Jay (Forever And A Day), Willie Big Eyes Smith And The Juke Joint Rockers (Blindman), Watermelon Slim & The Workers (Bad Sinner), Lee McBee and the Passions (Train Fare), Ash Grundwald (Everyday), Fathead (Too Many Heartaches), The Dermot Byrne Blues Combo (Walking Blues), Paul Mark & The Van Dorens (All the Wrong Dreams), Alan Wright (Hello Everybody) and The Hamsters (Never Get Me Up in One of Those).
