In part one we saw how the two real forces at play in all politics are individualism versus collectivism, and how the source of a "right" determinines its nature. In part 2 we expand into the basic fallacies of collectivism, the greatest of which is the concept that "groups" have rights. We see the reality that only an individual can have rights and there is no "group" (state) without individuals. We must remind ourselves that it is the misunderstnding of these basic social-political concepts which is at the core of all the dysfunctional legislating and administration in this country. Are we collectivist statists or liberal democratic individualists? You can't be both.
