Serbian Nazis riot over Radovan Karadzic Print E-mail
Written by Darcey
Wednesday, 23 July 2008

Not everyone in Serbia is happy about the arrest of Radovan Karadzic for war crimes. Members of the 'Serbian Radical Party' and Obraz (clero-fascists) have taken to the streets

rioting_serbians.jpg

They are threatening to topple Serbia's 'pro-western' government.

::

Interesting twist, Radovan Karadzic was apparently given up by his one time military commander (and also the Hague's most wanted man) General Ratko Mladic. h/t Alan

Good story, but take the apostrophe out of "Nazi's," where it dosn't belong.

"Serbia plans to extradite the former Bosnian Serb leader to a UN war crimes court."

There's the money answer. UN intervention. Forcing internationalist legal system orthodoxies upon a sovereign nation who do not wish to make their justice system subordinate to some internationalist star chamber

First this article is biased towards the internationalist/UN interventionist world view.

Second, being "nationalist" (believe in national sovereignty) does not make one a Nazi. But if your aim is to subjugate sovereign nation states to international collectivism and to thrust the vacant authority of "world courts" on sovereign nations , then you must paint patriotism and nationalism and any sentiment in support of the sovereign nation state in a negative light.

I have no Idea if this guy is guilty of what they say but I do think it is a matter for his own nation's justice system to decide, not some UN run kangaroo court where the verdict was determined before the accused arrives for trial...just another internationalist political show trial.

I can see how nationalists would be upset with this...particularly seeing how UN meddling in their civil conflict extended and expanded the civil war there.

It's safe to say that nationalists from this region are sick of UN and western meddling in their national affairs and the government selling out to internationalist show trial politics is debatably treasonous of national sovereignty.

Personally I'm disgusted the US would provide any support for this UN war crimes court in this regard, particularly as they have denounced the world court as illegitimate and without the sovereignty to try an American citizen....be nice if they practiced what they preached and supported a nation with the same sentiments about national sovereignty.

The Obraz and the Serbian Radical Party both have ties to the neo-nazi movement growing in Serbia.

On Radovan, I agree, I don't think much will come of it as the tribunal will likely last years and years and he'll probably die before they come up with some sort of conviction. What about the other sides though? They all supposedly committed war crimes.

Right on OMMAG...easiest way in the world to install a "internationalist" regime is agitate the balkanism you created in the first place then install a puppet leader/regime under UN occupation ( er I mean peace keeping).

There is something in the Balkans the internationalists want that the IMF has been trying to snag for years by flaunting "loans" their government has wisely resisted. The civil war almost brought them to their knees and in need of foreign capital. Personally I think the idea was to destroy the nation's wealth engines and infrastrutures by extending the civil conflict with "intervention" then come in and buy it up cheap with UN/IMF/WB loans to rebuild.

That's how the UN and its racketeers work in Africa and Latin America, Bosnia was a stab at bringing a former soviet region under the EU economic influence and the UN internationalism as a reliant vessel state. Protracting civil conflict was a tool. Much to their dismay the region remains very nationalistic and sovereignty oriented with enough productivity to rebuild on its own.

WLMR - If you haven't already, read Carol Off's "Ghosts of Medak Pocket". It's incredibly disturbing how much influence "Canadians" (i.e. Balkan disaporia living in Canada) had in what occurred there.

The real reason why the region's history is peppered with violence and conspiracy is that it is immersed in Clannish Tribalism.

The clans have not ever been broken by force and in fact every intervention in the region has resulted in reinforcing the underlying tribal mentality. The fact that muslims are involved is just the icing on the cake.

Correct. Tito saw this and realized the only hope of national cohesion was a firm dictatorship under pseudo-marshal law...when that evaporated after his death and the fall of Soviet influence the ethnic factions saw their chance to duke it out for top dog or independence.

She: I haven't read that book, but I agree with you about the Canadian influence...this tribalism is 1000 years old and the animosities go back to the Ottoman days...it's amazing that this clannish imprint lasted so long and that became evident in the number of 2nd and 3 rd gen Yugoslav Canadians that volunteered for Serb or croat army duty...and the funding pipeline.

I call him a hero - he got rid of 8000 Muslims - he should have done more because they would have tried him whether he killed 8000 or 8000000 - He should be freed and he should run for president or leader or what ever they have there. Maybe he can be allowed to finish the job.

Add Krazy to the Nazi brigrade. And add him to the line-up at the gallows that Karadzic hopefully will get soon.

The muslims in Bosnia are as far away from the extremist Wahabi nuts in the Middle East as my grandma going to church on Sunday is from Timmy Mveigh. Ask any of the thosands of Canadian troops that served in the area and they will tell you that the people there were good people who desrve jusice in seeing the genocidal manaiacs that took control in the 90's punished.

And remember your Serbian nationalist Nazi friends didn't just kill evil muslims, they also did quite a number on god-fearing Catholic Croats.

david d There is no good Muslim - they may want you to think they are good - but they aren't - When the Muslim wars start here in North American you will wish that they had killed them all. I have faced and sent these bastards to Allah. As for the Catholics - I have had experiences with Priests as a young boy and I have no love lost for any of them getting cleansed either.

Poor innocent Bosnians....and thank goodness their leaders have been cleared in the Hague of all war crimes and all their group killings of Serbians will be written in history as justified defensive actions...
I think the americans should have ended the war in Yoguslavia by bombing the entire region with really really really big bombs...then all their croat, serb, bosnian body parts would be together for eternity in mass graves
