More Fakery From The Fake Olympic Games Print E-mail

If you thought that the falsified fireworks and singer during the opening ceremonies was pretty poor "sport", the Chinese have admitted another fake attempt to show their own multiculturalism and diversity. Problem is, China doesn't do diversity. They have the Chinese majority, and then all the inferior religions and races who get sent to gulags and prisons behind the happy fun scenes of China's sweet 16 birthday party :

Organisers of the Games acknowledged on Friday that children dressed in ethnic costumes from around China who carried the Chinese flag at the ceremony were not actually from those ethnic groups, some of whom have tense relations with the government.

This is the third faking incident to emerge from the Aug. 8 ceremony after it was revealed an angelic 9-year-old girl lip-synched the song "Ode to the Motherland" as the real singer was not pretty enough and some "live" fireworks pre-recorded. Games Vice President Wang Wei played down the latest incident, saying he did not know exactly where these children were from as they were performers representing China's 56 minority groups.

"It is typical for Chinese performers to wear different apparel from different ethnic groups. There is nothing special about it," Wang told reporters.

"They will wear different apparel to signify people are friendly and happy together."

But China's attempt to control every aspect of the ceremony, even if it meant some trickery and substitutions, and other manipulation at the Beijing Games such as bussing in cheering crowds has come under heavy criticism internationally.

Hey, who needs minorities when you can just dress up like them and pretend? Maybe next time China can hold their own Olympics, and they can dress up and pretend they are all the other nations as well. Who are we kidding though? There won't be a next time. The Olympics will become meaningless in two years when global warming exterminates all life on Earth. Right?

This is a hell of a good idea! Every Country, Canada included, should look into this!

Scenario: Mohawk protesters block a highway in Ontario. Down the road another group of "pretend" Mohawks, played by Stratford actors, explains to the assembled MSM that the "other" Indians are fakes and don't speak for the majority.

The OPP then rounds up the phonies, just like in China, and they're never heard from again!

Y'know, if our governments follow the Chinese example, soon we too will live in a socialist paradise. smilies/wink.gif

Ok. so how will this work exactly. I am caucasian Irish (not to be confused with the famed Black Irish one of whom is or was the mayor of Dublin smilies/shocked.gif

I could dress up as a Chinese Canadian (didn't a Spanish sports team, basketball if I recall, try that too?). An Indo Canadian could dress up as a leprecaun (sp). A Muslim Canadian could dress up as a Catholic Canadian (I could have said "Jewish Canadian" but to date I have yet to hear ANY Jew call him/herself Jewish Canadian, it just doesn't sound right does it?). Endless multicultural fun.
