Nor have you heard about the recent ordered by the Pentagon and Blackwater of 110,000 American railway cars fitted with shackles for use on American soil... Sure it didn't happen as quick and the population affected/displaced was marginal compared to NO, nontheless the military still came and helped. There was no massive looting, rioting or whatever, just a whole bunch of people that pulled together and helped out. What made the difference, I'll tell you. Pack that many people in a small area and the worst of humanity will appear. How else do you put a lid on it? |

I was illustrating the differences between the relatively comparable situations that occured here, and in New Orleans. Now, there have been numerous floods/disasters that have occurred since Katrina throughout the U.S. In how many instances has the confiscation card been played? Now you have to ask yourself why that is. The New Orleans disaster will go down as one of the biggest clusterfucks in American history, the repurcussions of which will be felt for years to come. You can look at it as a blueprint for things to come....... |
